Getting to Nagarjuna Fulbari gate, the start point of the hike is a 20-minute ride from Kathmandu. Day 01: Hike Start

Following a short 20-minute ride to the northwest of the Kathmandu Valley, you arrive at the entrance of the Shivapuri National Park at Fulbari Gate. Trekking along the serene trails of the national park, the hike ascends for most of the part. The routes are filled with a variety of floras decorating the entire trail. Plenty of wildlife also greets you on the way. As you reach the top of the hill, you can explore the Jamacho Monastery and the Jamacho Durbar Square. Revered by both the Buddhists and Hindus, the monastery and palace are also of significant cultural importance. The views of the Himalayas are also pretty marvelous from the hilltop. After exploring to your heart’s content, you return to your hotel in Kathmandu.
