Pokhara Valley Tour starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. During your stay in the capital city, you will be observing the UNESCO world heritage sites like the Durbar Squares of Patan, Kathmandu, and Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. After a short stay in Kathmandu, you drive to Pokhara.

While you are in Pokhara, you will be surrounded by the magnificent Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. If you take a boating tour in the pristine Phewa Lake, you can relish the reflection of the glorious Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m), also known as, the Mt. Fishtail.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

The trip starts with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Our company representative will welcome you at the airport. Then, you will head to the hotel and freshen up. Shortly after, you can explore the streets and markets in the Newari neighborhood. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing tour to Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Swayambhunath Stupa

After breakfast, you meet our tour guide at the hotel. He will guide you on sightseeing around the world heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley. In Kathmandu, you visit the holy shrines of Boudhanath, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath. The tour ends with a scenic climb to the hilltop shrine of Swayambhunath. These UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the valley offer insight into the ancient history, religious harmony, and cultural majesty of the city. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 03: Full day guided sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square

On the 3rd day, you explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. These durbar squares were built by the Malla kings and contain numerous temples, museums, monuments, and statues. You can see the famous Pagoda style architecture and ancient inscriptions. Naytapola Temple and Bhairav Temple in the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Krishna Mandir in Patan Durbar Square are quite fascinating regarding the prosperity of art and architecture in the valley. Day 04: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus and boating in Phewa Lake

Today, you leave Kathmandu and get on a drive to the beautiful city of Pokhara. The ride takes you along the rushing Trishuli River and provides scenic views of the landscapes, lush forests, and small rural settlements along the way. With the company of the looming Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Himalayas, the road journey settles at Pokhara. After a brief rest, you head to the Phewa Lake and boat around the serene waters of the lake. The Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m) offers illustrious company on the boat ride. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

Day 05: Morning Sunrise view in Sarangkot and sightseeing tour in Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave

You wake up early in the morning and take a short drive to Sarangkot. It is a popular viewpoint which provides a magnificent sunrise view and stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. You return to the hotel for breakfast and then move towards Mahendra Cave and Bat cave for sightseeing. The limestone caves are home to a number of bat species. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

Day 06: Hike to World Peace Stupa and afternoon visit to International Mountain Museum, Davis Fall and Gupteshwor Cave

On the 6th day, you hike to World Peace Stupa, a scenic viewpoint, and an important Buddhist monument. The stupa also offers remarkable views of the Annapurna Himalayas and Pokhara Valley. After lunch, you visit the International Mountain Museum which has got a lot of information on Nepalese mountains and its glorious mountaineering history. On the same day, you also visit Gupteshwor Cave, another limestone cave and Davis Fall, known as Patale Chhango. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

Day 07: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

You leave Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu. Most of the day will be spent on the road, so you arrive at Kathmandu late in the evening. You can take some time for souvenir shopping before you make preparations for heading to your next destination. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 08: Departure
