The Nagarkot Hiking Trip begins from Kathmandu with a short drive to Sankhu. The drive heads northwest and heads to the outskirt of the Kathmandu Valley. Thereon, the trail begins its gradual ascent passing a number of small villages on the way.
You can observe a distinct variation between valley life and the lifestyle of the people along the hiking trail. The lifestyle of the people involves mainly following agricultural practices.

Day 01: Drive from Thamel to Sankhu and Hike to Nagarkot Hill for Sunset and Back to Kathmandu
The Hiking trip will start at around 7:00 am or lately at 8:00 am in the morning. A private vehicle will pick you up at Thamel and drive all the way to Sankhu. From there the actual hike trip to Nagarkot hill for sunset begins. The trail passes a number of quaint settlements along the way. At the end of the hike, you reach the top of the Nagarkot vantage point and relish the gorgeous scenery. After the hike, you will be driven back to Kathmandu.
What is included in Nagarkot Hiking
