The 16-day trip starts at Kathmandu where you indulge in quick sightseeing of the famous UNESCO world heritage sites like Swayambhunath Temple and Pashupatinath Temple. Then, you fly to Bhutan to discover the unique culture and cuisines.

You arrive at the international airport in Paro and then catch a quick ride that leads you to the capital Thimpu. One fascinating thing about Thimpu is that it does not have any traffic lights.

The next day, you visit the revered Tiger’s Nest Monastery, National Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichho Dzong, and Buddha Dordenma. After exploring these landmarks, we make our return back to Kathmandu and explore the traditional side of the capital through the old Kathmandu walk where you discover old houses, markets, and cultural hubs of the Newar.

The next stop is Pokhara, where you visit the famous Phewa Lake and hike up to the World Peace Pagoda to see panoramic views of Pokhara and mountain ranges like Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. You also visit Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls, Mountain Museum, and Sarangkot (for sunrise).

Then you head south to Chitwan to experience the wilderness and nature. On arriving at Chitwan, you refresh and take a nature walk to enjoy the flora and fauna. Then, you enjoy the Tharu cultural show and do a jeep safari, canoe ride, and jungle walk the next day at Chitwan National Park. You head back to Kathmandu and enjoy the exceptional culture of Bhaktapur. Then you complete the last leg of the tour by flying to Lhasa.

At Lhasa, you visit famous landmarks like the holy Potala Palace, Drepung Monastery, Tibet Museum, and Barkhor Square. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu, pick up and transfer to Hotel

You arrive in Kathmandu via the Tribhuvan International Airport. Our company’s representatives are there to welcome and pick you up. Then you transfer to the hotel to refresh. You attend the welcome dinner with our staffs and guide who will accompany you on this trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing

The second day, you explore the historic and cultural capital city, Kathmandu. The first stop is the Swayambhunath Temple, also known as Monkey Temple. Then you visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. At Boudha, you have your lunch and the tour ends at the Patan Durbar Square. There you visit the museum and stroll around the major landmarks of Durbar Square. You have dinner at Basantapur. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Fly to Paro (1 hour 10 minutes) and drive to Thimphu (1 hour 30 minutes)

You catch the first flight to Paro from Kathmandu. Your Bhutanese guide is there at Paro Airport to welcome you. You head to Thimphu via road for an overnight stay. At least by late afternoon, you reach Thimpu. Once you reach there, you have lunch at the hotel and refresh before doing the sightseeing tour. You visit the National Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichho Dzong and Buddha Dordenma. Overnight in Thimpu.

Day 5: Hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang) monastery (2-3 hours)

After breakfast, you head to today’s destination, the iconic Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang) monastery, which is the most famous landmark of Bhutan. You head back to Paro and start the hike through pine forests to reach the monastery. You cannot take your belongings and even camera inside there so give it to your guide. After hiking back, you do a quick tour of the major landmarks of Paro i.e. Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay at Paro.

Day 6: Fly back to Kathmandu. Old Kathmandu walking in the late afternoon.

You catch the first flight back to Kathmandu. After touchdown at Kathmandu, you head to the hotel and have lunch after refreshments. Then you do a tour of Old Kathmandu is arranged. The tour takes places in Kathmandu Durbar Square where the traditional houses, temples and market areas like Ason are still preserved. The guide will take you to all the landmarks and brief you about the history behind it. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 7: Fly to Pokhara (25-30 minutes). Hike to world peace pagoda (1 hour)

You fly to Pokhara after breakfast. From the airport, you go to the hotel, refresh and head to Lakeside for lunch. You visit the Tal Barahi Temple, which is in Phewa Lake. Then you head to the southern banks to hike up to the World Peace Pagoda, which takes at most 1 hour. Once you reach there, you see a beautiful panorama of the Pokhara Valley with the Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Range in the backdrop. Then you head back to Lakeside for dinner. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 8: Sunrise view from Sarangkot and Pokhara Tour.

Today you go to the famous Sarangkot to see the sunrise, so you head there before dawn. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the viewpoint. At sunrise, you can see magnificent views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre along with Pokhara Valley. After witnessing such beautiful views, you head back to the hotel and have breakfast. Then you go for sightseeing to Mahendra Cave, Davis Fall, and Mountain Museum. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 9: Fly to Chitwan National park (10 minutes). Pick up and check-in a safari lodge.

After breakfast, you head to the airport and fly to Chitwan. From there, you head to a safari lodge where you stay overnight and refresh. Then you have lunch and prepare for the nature walk in Chitwan National Park. A professional guide will be there as you encounter wild animals. The walk goes for up to 10 km and you can see amazing sunset views. Then you attend the Tharu cultural program and head for dinner. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 10: Jeep safari, canoe ride, jungle walk. Overnight in Chitwan.

Today you will do various activities in the national park. After breakfast, you join the guide for a canoe ride to see beautiful early morning views of the Rapti River. You can see Gharial and various birds during this ride. Then you head for jeep safari. You get the chance to see various animals like rhinos, elephants and if you’re lucky, tigers as well. Then, you do the jungle walk before having dinner. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu. Bhaktapur Tour

After breakfast, you catch the first flight back to Kathmandu. Once you arrive, you head to the hotel and refresh. Today you head to Bhaktapur, known for the unique Newari culture and pottery. First, you explore the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and have lunch there. Then you head to the pottery Square to try out pottery. You also try the local delicacies like Bhaktapur yogurt. Head back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight in Bhaktapur.

Day 12: Fly to Gonggar airport (1 hour 25 minutes) and drive to Lhasa (1 hour 30 minutes).

Today you head to Lhasa via a flight. You head to the airport after breakfast and catch the first flight to Tibet. At Gonggar Airport, the local guide is there to welcome you. Then you drive to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. En route, you can see scenic views of Lhasa River. Due to high altitudes, it is advised for you to rest

Day 13: Lhasa Tour

On the first day of Lhasa tour, you visit the famous Potala Palace, which used to be the residence of Dalai Lama and is now a museum. Then you visit the Norbulingka Palace and head to Jokhang Temple. The second day of the tour starts off at Drepung Monastery, one of the largest monasteries of Tibet. Then you visit the Tibet Museum, Sera Monastery and end at Barkhor Square. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 14-15: Fly back to Kathmandu

After a lavish Tibetan breakfast, you head towards the Gonggar Airport to catch the first flight back to Kathmandu. From Tribhuvan Airport, you are transferred to the hotel where you can refresh. In your free time, you can do some souvenir shopping or relax at a café. You can also explore the gullies of Kathmandu Valley. At dinner, you join the company’s representatives for farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 16: Drive to the airport for final departure.

Today is the last day of the tour. Pack all your personal belongings and make sure that you have all your documents with you.
